Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to information you provide when you use this website. It describes how the site actually works today.
Who we are
Alphabets of Islam provides live online Quran, Arabic, Tajweed and Islamic Studies lessons. You can reach us by email at info@alphabetsofislam.com or on WhatsApp at +963 992 323 796.
The enrolment form
The enrolment form on this site asks for a student’s first name and age, a parent or guardian’s name, a WhatsApp number, an email address, the programme you are interested in, the teaching language, the session type, a preferred time, your time zone and any notes you add.
The form does not send anything to this website. When you press the button, the details you typed are assembled into a WhatsApp message and WhatsApp opens with that message ready. Nothing is sent until you choose to press Send inside WhatsApp, and the website itself does not store or record what you typed.
Every enquiry button on this site opens WhatsApp with a message prepared. If you send it, the message is delivered through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, and we receive it in our WhatsApp account. WhatsApp’s own handling of your message is covered by Meta’s privacy policy, not by this one.
You can ask us to delete an enquiry conversation at any time by emailing info@alphabetsofislam.com.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful and whether visitors reach our enquiry buttons. It records the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, the type of device and browser you use, and whether you clicked a WhatsApp button or began filling in the enrolment form. It does not receive your name, your phone number or the contents of any message.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>. If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, these are not set unless you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. Elsewhere, analytics runs unless you choose “Decline”. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.
The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising pixels.
Hosting
This site is hosted by Hostinger. Like all web hosts, the server keeps standard access logs, which include visitors’ IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Children
Our lessons are taught to children as well as adults. The enrolment form asks for a parent or guardian’s name alongside the student’s, and it should be completed by a parent or guardian, not by a child. If you believe a child has sent us information without a parent’s involvement, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@alphabetsofislam.com.
- Accept or decline analytics cookies using the banner, and change that choice later from the footer link.
- Use the website without the enrolment form at all — you can simply message us on WhatsApp.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
